Hi there! The name's Korra! I'm the Avatar succeeding Aang, and I'm darn happy to be. Being the Avatar is absolutely exciting. However, there's just one problem. I can't seem to master Airbending. Waterbending, Earthbending, and Firebending manifested at a young age, so those elements came easy for me. They say the most difficult element to master is the one that is most opposite of the Avatar's personality. This also prevents me from connecting with the Spirit World as well as the Avatar State. I've traveled to Republic City in search for Tenzin, my desired Airbending master. While I've been here, I've learned many things. There's an anti-bending organization known as The Equalists governed by a man known to the people as Amon. They wish to rid of all benders from not only Republic City, but the entire world. And it's my job to restore balance to this world. I've gained a few friends along the way, as well! I'd wandered into the Pro-Bending arena one night and got caught wandering around the gym. That's when Bolin found me. Shortly afterward I'd met his brother, Mako whom doesn't seem to like me much. I don't even know what I did to the guy. Anywho, he lightened up after I'd stepped in for their absent Waterbender and helped them get into the tournament. But, Tenzin told me that I've got to put my Airbending training first and foremost. This Avatar stuff is far more complicated than I expected.
So, Steve Blum (voice actor of Amon) is going to be at Anime Expo this weekend. I’m going to do very dirty things to that man, and while I do…I’m making him say dirty things to me in Amon’s voice. For example, “Yes, COME. Let’s achieve equality together!” >_____>
Am I the only one who approves of what’s going on between Mako and Korra as of the new clip(s)? Don’t get me wrong, I adore Asami, but Mako and Korra make a far better couple to me. So, I suppose it’s General Iroh to Asami’s rescue now! :D
